There are lots of things to love about being alive, even if it may take what seems like forever to find them. And I know this may not seem like it means much, because posts like this didn't mean much to me back then, but it really will all be worth it someday
I hope tumblr staff knows that if they try to force an algorithm on me, then I, as a person who lurked on here for like two years before making an account, have already built up the patience to refuse to engage with the algorithm by any means necessary. I've routinely opened individual blogs manually and scrolled through them like different pages of the morning newspaper before, and if they replace Following with For You on the dash, I'll go back to doing it again.
I'm completely immunized against mildly inconvenient ways of interacting with social media as long as I get to choose the form of mild inconvenience and staff doesn't. you cannot force me to perceive algorithms in any way that matters
I think if a studio exec says they want to force you to starve to death so you’ll be made to accept garbage wages, you should crush them in a hydraulic press incredibly slowly
Like the fact that rich people have gotten to the point where they think they can just be like “oh yeah I’m literally trying to kill you” without fear of repercussions is beyond infuriating. They need to know what it feels like to be beaten to death by hammers.
"What will you do without new shows" I haven't watched a mainstream television show as it released in years. I'm catching up on shows my parents liked in the 90s. I'm listening to fiction podcasts with 5 fans. I'm playing a video game the creators want you to pirate. I'm watching a minecraft roleplay. I may not know what I'm gonna do but I'm sure as hell not gonna be a fuckin scab babygirl.
